Trusting Our Father’s Workmanship

For it is God Who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13).

Be honest. Do you feel that God’s work is lacking in you? Do you feel as though He is working too slowly? Beloved of our Father, don’t be discouraged with His work. Trust Him implicitly. By patience and faith wait upon Him to do His work. His work in you is His responsibility.

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).

Don’t be disappointed with His work. Simply trust Him unreservedly. Wait patiently on Him. The execution of His work is also His responsibility. He is faithful and will do His work!

Because you are God’s clay – His “workmanship” (Ephesians 2:10) – He is responsible for who you are: all in His own time and wisdom, and at His own discretion.
